The Shaffer Family Farm

Our family farm is located in Northumberland County just outside Sunbury.  My great-grandfather began farming this land nearly a century ago.  I am carrying on our family tradition of farming organically with the help of my father and brother.  Our farm incorporates free range, humanely treated, and organically fed cattle, pigs, and chickens in addition to certified organic vegetable gardens.  This will be my eighth season as a CSA farmer.  The support of CSA members has allowed our family to continue farming.
