Greetings from the Farm!

It seems as though Spring is here!  The robins in the yard, crocuses peeking through the flowerbeds, and unusually warm temperatures have given us a bad case of Spring Fever!  We decided to put it to good use and get the fields ready for planting a little early.

We must begin planning for our 2012 CSA season.  This is our 11^th year running the CSA.  We’ve learned quite a bit through the past decade, most of which can only be learned through hard-earned experience.  But we believe that it is that experience which makes New Life CSA so enjoyable for the many families that we serve. 

Will you be one of those families served by New Life CSA this year?  If so, please fill out the membership contract today.  It will enable us to continue doing what we love, and give you the chance to enjoy the fruits of our labor.  If you are new to the CSA, feel free to contact us through email, phone, or face book to have your questions answered. 

We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year’s CSA.  Matthew is getting a number of fruit trees to start an orchard, which I am very anxious for.  It will be a few years until we are able to offer fruit in the CSA, but we are excited by the prospect.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the celery we tried growing last year, so we are planning on growing even more this year! We are also looking toward expanding our client base, perhaps into Harrisburg, so please help us by spreading the word about our CSA.
